Brand identity is a brand’s essence, encompassing physical and psychological traits that shape people’s perception and recognition of the brand.
Ultimately, it is the face of the brand, reflecting its identity and making it easily recognizable and distinct from other brands.
When creating a brand identity, it is crucial to consider information such as the Unique Selling Proposition (USP), brand personality, target audience, the market in which the brand aims to position itself, competition, the brand’s communication style, and, most importantly, what makes it unique compared to others. Only by doing so can the rules be precisely established upon which to build the brand identity.

What is Brand identity?
The foundational elements of brand identity include its name, logo, color choices, typography, imagery, visual tone of voice, iconography, and all communication materials on which this identity is applied, known as the coordinated image (three examples: business cards, email signatures, and product packaging).
The Brand Identity Manual defines and explains all these elements, providing guidelines for creating visual materials effectively and consistently with the brand’s image.
It is crucial to consistently and continuously apply the established rules to all communication materials. This approach lets the audience know and recognize the brand, enhances its visibility, and fosters credibility.
